CREEDA is member of JOBfutures, the largest community based network of Job Network providers in Australia, providing jobseekers with a range of services to enable them to obtain employment.
Some of the services provided include:
- job vacancy information and job search facilities through JobSearch kiosks
- advice on job search techniques, training programs and career options
- recording of skills and experience of each jobseeker on JobSearch - the automated job matching service
- advice on resumes and application letters
- arranging job interviews and giving feedback on interviews to jobseekers
- intensive job search training to improve job search skills
- advice on further training available
- support whilst settling into the new job.
Our employment consultants aim to establish long term relationships with employers. This allows us to recommend jobseekers who are not only productive, but also more successful in the job, through a better fit of employee abilities with employer expectations and requirements.
Our team has a diverse range of experience and expertise in administration, hospitality, sales, retail, community services, and federal and local government.
CREEDA Training Centre
CREEDA is also a Registered Training Organisation, providing current training at nation-wide standards, in subjects with industry-wide demand.
CREEDA Training offers courses for both jobseekers entering and returning to the workforce, and for those who wish to enhance their skills.
At present we offer on-site classes in:
- Get Ready (Basic skills for the office and life management skills);
- Certificates II, III and IV in Business;
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training;
and we will be offering long distance education for those who wish to study from the home or office commencing in 2004.
Our staff is highly skilled and well respected in the industry.
